Upright Monuments
Uprights are sometimes also referred to as tablets, raised headstones, or raised gravestones. These consist of two main pieces, the die or tablet, and the bottom matching granite base. Granite flower vases are a common option and can be added to one or each end.
Benefits with this style:
- Many prefer the upright because of the taller size, the matching granite base
- It is easier to keep clean being a vertical surface.
- It allows an additional feature of engraving on the backside. Many people choose to put their children's names on the back, or other artwork. This is an additional cost, which varies according to the amount of engraving.
